There’s a movie based mostly on dystopian sci-fi title Ruiner within the works.
Selection reviews that Common Photos has acquired the rights to Polish studio Reikon’s 2017 indie hit. Director Wes Ball is hooked up to go up proceedings, having beforehand labored on Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and The Maze Runner movies. In the meantime, Michael Arlen Ross is adapting the screenplay.
Kelly McCormick and David Leitch of Bullet Practice and Fall Man fame are producing the movie through 87North.
Ruiner got here out in 2017 and has shifted 4 million copies so far.
“You knew this was coming. Common Photos has formally began work on the movie adaptation of our recreation Ruiner,” developer Reikon wrote on Twitter. “Directed by Wes Ball, the movie will deliver the gritty cyberpunk world of Rengkok to life. Prepare for an intense trip!”
Wes Ball can also be engaged on a live-action adaptation of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda.
